Rana Al-Akabani is a Syrian-Libyan journalist, editor and media trainer that previously worked as an editor for Correspondents.org, Khatt30.com, and as a correspondent for the London-based Al-Arab newspaper, Libya press and Sabah Oya, among others.
She is also a co-founder of “Libya Spring” Newspaper, and participated in conducting a number of researches and studies with focus on Libya and north africa.
Rana has experience conducting media training for journalists in North Africa on behalf of MiCT and other organizations.
At NAMA, her focus is on growing the organization and designing capacity building, media production and research projects.
Project Officer
Marwa Al-Naas is a Libyan project coordinator, production manager and journalist with a background in graphic design. Before joining NAMA, she worked for numerous outlets, including Al Watanya, Alfaras Media, Karawan local radio, BBC Media Action, Geneva call and Correspondents.org.
